The main focus in ECMI’s action-oriented work remains on Georgia and Kosovo. In both regions, the Centre has established itself as the key player in the area of majorityminority relations, working both with civil society actors and the government. In Georgia, the Centre’s office, led by Mr Tom Trier, has continued its work in Samtskhe Javakheti and in the Tsalka region. At the same time, the Centre has continued to offer legal and institutional support to the central government and parliament, acting in coordination with the Council of Europe.
