Social and Self- efficacy and Experiences of Violence among High- school Female Pupils in North Kosovska Mitorvica
Publisher: Centre for Communities Development, Kosovska Mitorvica
Date: 2013
Volume: 32, pdf
Description
The International organization CARE International - Balkans and partner organizations have been implementing a program designed to decrease violence – “The Young Men Initiative”. “The Young Men Initiative” aims to support young men aged from 14 to 18 in Northwest Balkans to adopt gender
behaviour,
more equitable social norms and healthy lifestyles, as well as to discourage violent behavior towards the community, women and peers. At the beginning of the second phase of the project in 2010, “The Young Men Initiative” spread activities geographically in order to include more communities in the Western Balkans, thus North Kosovska Mitrovica was included. Even though the focus has remained to be on the young men, the second phase of the project has also widened activities and included the young girls.
