Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Office (hereinafter referred to as HCA Vanadzor Office) was founded in 1998 as a branch of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Armenian Committee. It was registered as an independent organization in 2001, and was reregistered in the RA Ministry of Justice in 2005. The Organization is located in the capital of Lori Region, the town of Vanadzor. The organization has representations in the towns of Alaverdi, Tashir, Stepanavan and Spitak of Lori Region. The geography of the Organization’s activities covers Lori Region as well as the entire territory of the republic through different projects and campaigns. During the last five years the majority of project actions included the northern regions of Armenia. The main spheres of Organization’s activities are human rights, advocacy and peace-building.
