This research report aims at (a) improving information of policy makers and other stakeholders of the society about the current situation of POEs, regarding the need for their privatization taking into account also experiences of other transition economies, and (b) to induce an improvement in transparency, accountability and especially en¬couraging public policies aimed at successful completion of this important process. The report focused especially on the three key enterprises: Kosovo Energy Corpora¬tion (KEK), Post and Telecom of Kosovo (PTK) and Prishtina International Airport (PIA) having in mind their importance in economic and social development.
